In Sevastopol, the Russian Federation put a model of a submarine next to a real sunken one

The Russians tried to deceive the Ukrainian military with a model of a submarine that sank the day before.

The invaders placed a model submarine of the “Varshavyanka” class in Sevastopol’s Kilen Bay. This was reported by OSINT researcher MT Anderson.

We will remind that the original submarine “Rostov-on-Don” was destroyed the day before by soldiers of the ZSU. The layout is quite high-quality, so from a distance it can really be confused with a submarine. However, the Russians did not take into account that not far from the model behind the tarpaulin, the propeller of the real “Rostov-on-Don” can be seen.

“If you’re trying to pass off a decoy as a real (ed.: submarine), don’t put it next to a real one, part of which you see on the same satellite image,” the researcher commented.

As USM recently wrote, Ukraine and Lithuania will strengthen cooperation  in the fields of demining and production of maritime drones.
