In the current season, Ukraine exported 8 million tons of grain

Since the beginning of the 2023/24 fiscal year (from July 1 to October 20, 2023), the export of Ukrainian grain and leguminous crops has reached 8.02 million tons.

As of Friday, October 20, since the beginning of the 2023/24 FY, Ukraine exported 8.02 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. Of these, 1.267 million tons were shipped in October, according to the  Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

As of October 21 last year, the total figure for shipments was 11.526 million tons.

In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following have been exported:

• wheat – 4.069 million tons (in 2022/23 MR – 4.363 million tons);

• barley – 656 thousand tons (950 thousand tons);

• rye – 0.8 thousand tons (6.2 thousand tons);

• corn – 3.175 million tons (6.17 million tons).
