In the port of Odesa region, an enemy UAV hit a civilian vessel

As a result of the morning attack on April 16 by the Russian Federation on the port infrastructure of the Odesa region, a UAV hit a ship under the flag of Nauru was recorded.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Adminstration  Oleh Kiper. 

“A UAV hit a civilian cargo ship under the flag of Nauru was recorded, with the subsequent fire of one of the containers,” Oleh Kiper reported.

The ship’s crew extinguished the fire, after which the ship continued its movement.

It should be noted that there was no information about the dead or injured.

As previously reported by USM, on the night of April 16, the port infrastructure facilities of Great Odesa were again under massive shelling. As a result of numerous hits, production and administrative buildings, as well as facilities of port operators, were damaged.
