In the port of Reni, a berth will be repaired for 12 millions

Repair of berth No. 29 in the port of Reni may cost UAH 12 million.

A procurement for the repair of berth No. 29 was announced by the Reni branch of State Enterprise “USPA”. The expected cost of the works is UAH 12 million, according to the Prozorro public procurement website.

The contractor with whom the agreement will be concluded must dismantle the crane beams and rails, dismantle the covering, replace the destroyed and damaged piles, restore the side beams of the upper structure of the berth, break devices, etc. The company will have to complete the work by December 31, 2023.

As reported by USM, in January-August 2022, Ukrainian ports on the Danube — Reni, Izmail and Kilia —handled 3.4 million tons of grain. In general, the volume of exports of agricultural products in these ports increased by 3.2 times.
