In the ports of Great Odesa, more than a thousand wagons with grain are unloaded per day

The average daily volume of grain unloading in the ports of Great Odesa is 1,053 wagons, which is 55 units more than a week ago.

In total, 14 thousand 333 wagons are currently moving in the direction of all ports of Ukraine. More than 2,200 units are unloaded every day.

7,398 wagons with grain are headed to the ports of Great Odesa, 707 units to the Danube ports, writes  Rail.insider with reference to the director of the department of commercial work of UZ Valeriy Tkachev.

Also, the representative of UZ offered to use the route through the territory of Moldova to deliver cargo to the ports of Reni and Izmail.

“This, of course, will lead to an increase in the cost of transportation. But here it is necessary to take into account how much money is lost due to downtime and whether it is faster to drive through the territory of Moldova,” said Valeriy Tkachev.
