It is not profitable for the Russians to restore the submarine “Rostov-on-Don”, – British intelligence

It is economically unprofitable for the Russians to restore the destroyed “Rostov-on-Don” submarine.

It is economically unprofitable to restore the Rostov-on-Don submarine, which was attacked by Ukraine for the second time, the British Ministry of Defense said.

British intelligence said that the submarine, which was attacked a second time on August 3, most likely sank. The ATACMS missile complex could be used to destroy it.

Analysts also noted that, most likely, the submarine did not have time to fully repair even after the first attack, which occurred last year in September. In their opinion, it is economically more profitable for the Russians to build a new submarine.

However, the loss of the “Rostov-on-Don” boat by the Russians is unlikely to affect Russia’s strikes on Ukraine from the sea from a long distance.

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the “Rostov-on-Don” submarine on August 3. As a result of the hit, the submarine sank on the spot. The cost of the submarine is estimated at 300 million dollars.

Previously, USM reported that the Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces revealed a fatal mistake of the Russian Federation, due to which it lost the “Rostov-on-Don” submarine.
