Kernel grain exports grew by 15% over the year, and transshipment reached a record level

Agroholding Kernel increased grain exports and set a record for transshipment of agricultural products.

This is stated in the company’s operating report , Interfax-Ukraine reports.

In the fourth quarter of the 2026 fiscal year (April-June 2026), Kernel reduced oilseed processing by 32% compared to the same period last year – to 645 thousand tons.

According to the results of the 2026 fiscal year, the total volume of oilseed processing amounted to 3.185 million tons, which is 8% less than a year earlier.

“The total volume of oilseed processing in FY2026 amounted to 3.185 million tons, which is 8% less than in FY2025, due to limited availability of sunflower seeds on the domestic market due to one of the worst sunflower harvests in Ukraine in the last decade,” the report notes.

The company added that the drop in volumes was partially offset by the processing of alternative oilseeds, in particular soybeans and rapeseed.

Sales of edible oil in April-June decreased by 12% to 338 thousand tons, which reflects a decrease in processing volumes during the quarter.

At the same time, Kernel noted that sales remained relatively high due to the sale of vegetable oil stocks accumulated in previous quarters. In total, the company sold 1.407 million tons of edible oil in FY2026, which is 2% more than a year earlier.

Bottled sunflower oil accounted for 14 thousand tons of quarterly sales, compared to 19 thousand tons in the previous quarter.

Grain acceptance at grain elevators in April-June reached 320 thousand tons, while in the same period last year it was only 34 thousand tons. According to the results of the fiscal year, the total acceptance volume reached a record 4.341 million tons, which is 60% higher than in fiscal year 2025.

Grain exports from Ukraine in the last quarter of FY 2026 amounted to 2.011 million tons, which is 33% more than in the previous quarter and more than twice as high as in the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to the results of the first nine months of the 2026 fiscal year, Kernel reduced its net profit by 5% to $208 million. At the same time, the company’s revenue increased by 0.4% to $3.092 billion, and EBITDA by 1% to $403 million.
