Kernel has implemented eTTN on a large scale in its logistics

Kernel stated that the company was the first on the market to implement electronic freight and transport invoices (eTTN) in its logistics on a large scale and digitized the work of 1,000 carriers.

The company integrated 1,000 partner auto companies, 6,000 drivers, and over 400 dispatchers and weighers into a single digital system, the company’s press release states.

“This reduced settlement time, reduced the risk of document loss, and increased the transparency of processes. Given the state’s policy on the digitalization of freight transportation, Kernel is ready to share its achievements for high-quality integration and rapid scaling of eTTN as a standard. In particular, the company adapted the invoice structure to the needs of agribusiness,” Kernel noted.

Thus, during the season, the agricultural holding generates over 240,000 freight and transport invoices. In turn, the implementation of eTTN allowed us to reduce the time for checking the correctness of the execution of primary documents by 80% and increase the speed of settlements.

Head of the financial service of Kernel Agribusiness Mykhailo Holubakha emphasized that the transition to eTTN solved the problem of delays in settlements.

“Previously, we were given boxes of papers that had to be checked manually, and then returned and processed if errors were detected. Documents were often lost en route, which blocked payment. Now the process is transparent: the driver signed – we see it – payment is initiated. The carrier does not wait a week for the post office to deliver the papers,” Mykhailo Holubakha explained.

As Kernel Logistics Director Mykola Miroshnychenko noted, the company invested resources in educating the market.

“We helped thousands of drivers of partner carriers obtain a CEP and set up processes. And also showed that agribusiness can be faster and more efficient than other market sectors and any bureaucratic procedures,” Mykola Miroshnychenko concluded.
