Kiliia Shipyard will repair the ship of the Marine Guard for UAH 3 million

A division of PJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” – Kiliia Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant – will repair the ship of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service Amethyst (BG-58).

The Maritime Guard of the State Border Service has ordered services for the dock repair of the Amethyst ship, the Military Portal reports.

According to the tender published on Prozorro, the cost of repairs is UAH 3.038 million. JSSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company” (Self-supporting separate structural unit “Kiliia Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant”) was chosen as the contractor

The plant must complete the repair of the ship before December 1st.

Reference: Amethyst (BG-58) is a former fishing schooner, detained in 1999 by the ship Nikolaiev (BG-57) of the Marine Guard of the State Border Guard Service for illegal fishing. By a court decision, the ship was confiscated in favor of the state.
