Kuleba: Russia has launched over 800 attacks on logistics, ports and railways since the beginning of the year

The enemy has carried out more than 800 attacks on logistics infrastructure, including ports and railways, since the beginning of this year.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

According to him, in recent months, Russia has been attacking Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure facilities every day. In particular, power plants, substations, gas and water supply facilities have been hit. Targeted attacks on logistics, including ports and railways, have been recorded – more than 800 since the beginning of the year.

“These attacks do not stop our work. Communities in Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and the South protect, repair, and maintain life-support facilities every day. Even under shelling, the development of ports on the Black Sea and logistics routes that support the economy continues,” said Oleksiy Kuleba.

The official emphasized that Ukraine is increasing the protection of critical infrastructure.

“We are forming equipment reserves. We are installing engineering shelter systems. The horizon of our work is focused on sustainable recovery — with new technologies, new opportunities for communities,” Oleksiy Kuleba concluded.

We will remind you that as of early October 2025, the ports of Great Odesa have handled more than 146 million tons of cargo since the start of the maritime corridor.
