Medvedchuk’s arrested yacht will be handed over to Ukraine

Croatia plans to hand over the arrested yacht of the oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk to Ukraine.
The District Court of the city of Split (Croatia) made a decision to transfer the ship Royal Romance to Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the National Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) Olena Duma.
Croatia is now waiting for the ship to be handed over to Ukraine as soon as possible. At the same time, ARMA plans to re-examine the asset. After the assessment of the arrested vessel, its realization is planned.
Separately, Duma noted that the specified yacht sailed for a technical inspection on January 25, 2024, and assured that the National Agency is keeping the situation under control.
Prior to this, the SBU seized the near-port assets of Medvedchuk’s wife, Oksana Marchenko.
Previously, USM wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers improved the procedure for the sale of seized assets and normalized their sale abroad.
