More than 1 million tons of agricultural products were shipped from the Danube ports in half a month
In the first two weeks of August, Ukraine exported 1.75 million tons of agricultural products from the ports of the Danube cluster.
Since the beginning of 2023, Odesa enterprises have exported goods worth more than 1 billion dollars. Regionally, Odesa took 4th place with a share of 5.6% in the total volume of exports of goods, Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, said.
The most exported since the beginning of the year:
• grain crops (52.8%);
• fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin (15.6%);
• ready-made food products (5.1%).
A large share in the export of food products was taken by the ports of the Danube cluster. Thus, in the first 15 days of August, 1.75 million tons of agricultural products were shipped. In July, this indicator exceeded 2 million tons.
