More than 2,000 ships passed through the Ukrainian maritime corridor

Since the start of the maritime corridor, more than 2,000 ships have passed to and from the ports of Great Odesa.

This was reported by the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink on the social network Х.

Thus, since September 19, 2023, more than 2,000 ships have passed through the Ukrainian sea corridor, exporting more than 56 million tons of cargo.

She also noted that this is possible even despite constant attacks from the Russian Federation.

According to her, the export of grain is important both for the world, especially for countries facing food security, and for the Ukrainian economy.

We will remind that Ukraine exported more than 50 million tons of grain for 2023/24 MY.
