MSC bought 51% in the container terminal at the port of Pivdennyi

One of the world’s largest container operators has entered the port of Pivdenny. MSC has bought a stake in the Ukrainian terminal.
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has bought a 51% stake in the TIS container terminal in the port of Pivdenny, Latifundist reports.
According to YouControl, as of May 15, the largest ultimate beneficiaries of the company are representatives of the Aponte family – Diego Aponte and Alex Aponte; they indirectly control 25.5% of the company each.
Another 11.72% belong to Yegor Grebennikov, 9.72% – Andriy Stavnitser, and 9.19% – Oleg Kutateladze.
Earlier, USM reported that DP World had sold its 51% stake in the TIS container terminal in the port of Pivdenny. Then the TIS group bought out the stake.
