New engines were installed on the UDS vessel

As part of the modernization of the fleet of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company, new engines were installed on the ship “Kapitan Antypov”.

The first vessel of the Danube Shipping Company already has new engines, the UDS reported.

The preparatory work was successfully completed. A new exhaust gas neutralization system with the addition of AdBlue reagent was installed in the engine compartment.

“The exhaust system meets the latest European ES-TRIN standard. The UDS fleet will become the most ecological on the Danube. The system is very powerful and large, but there is enough space in the compartment. The ÖSWAG project provides everything. In particular, new diesel generators are in place,” the report says.

We will remind you that in May, the entire set of equipment for the UDS motor ship was delivered to the ÖSWAG shipyard.
