“Nibulon” calls for the opening of the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson

Nibulon calls for opening of Mykolaiv and Kherson ports to be key condition of any future agreement on the Black Sea.
This is stated in an open appeal of the company Nibulon to the international community.
The company called on the international community to make the opening of the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson — without any compromises on Ukraine’s sovereignty and freedom of navigation — a key condition of any future agreement.
“We emphasize: there can be no consent to external control, “grain monitoring” by the Russian Federation, or restrictions on Ukraine’s sovereign right to free trade.
Before the full-scale invasion, the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson provided a significant part of Ukraine’s agricultural exports, especially to countries that are most dependent on Ukrainian grain,” the company noted.
In particular, the blockade of the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson paralyzed and blocked more than 100 ships, including foreign ones, stopped the recovery of the regions and exacerbated the global food crisis.
Nibulon emphasized that the opening of these ports will be a guarantee of free shipping – without Russian dictate. This will also give a real boost to the economy of Southern Ukraine, and will also help restore logistics.
“We appeal to diplomatic missions, international organizations and partners.
The unblocking of Ukrainian ports must take place on the basis of international law, with guarantees of freedom of trade, respect for the sovereignty of Ukraine and without any control from the aggressor. Ukrainian ports must work – not under the conditions of the aggressor, but for the sake of the future of Ukraine and the stability of the world,” the company summarized.
As previously reported by USM, Russia is manipulating the ceasefire in the Black Sea in its own interests. In Kyiv, Moscow’s statements about returning to the Black Sea Grain Initiative were denied.
