“Nibulon” is interested in the production of the military fleet, – Vadaturskyi
Shipbuilding and ship repair plant “Nibulon” in Mykolaiv is ready to produce ships for any purpose.
“Nibulon” is ready to build any vessels and hopes to order a fleet for government agencies. The owner of the “Nibulon” company, Andriy Vadaturskyi, told this in an interview with Economic Truth.
According to Vadaturskyi, there is a need for this, and the only issue is decision-making and financial assistance for such programs.
In particular, “Nibulon” is ready to build a military fleet.
“Ukraine must have its own modern fleet in order to protect ports and increase economic interests in the Black Sea,” Vadaturskyi added.
However, the main problem, according to the owner of the company, is the lack of orders.
“We have many designers and engineers who design ships, work in Mykolaiv, work for export,” says Vadaturskyi. — I continue to fight for this direction and hope that orders will be placed. We are even ready to invest for these orders. We are ready to reinvest all the profit from state orders into the plant, so that it will be the best in Europe.”
The owner of “Nibulon” recalled that the company previously had a contract with the State Emergency Service for the supply of demining boats. However, after the leadership of the Service changed, the State Emergency Service refused the order.
Now one anti-mine boat is ready. “Nibulon” hopes that the Danish government will be able to buy the ship in order to transfer it to some Ukrainian direction. According to Andrii Vadaturskyi, there are strategic agreements, but they have not yet been implemented.
As USM wrote the day before, the first UDS grain caravan was loaded at the “Nibulon” terminal in Izmail.
