Nibulon plans to increase grain exports in 2026

This year, the Nibulon agroholding plans to export 3.5 million tons of grain.

This was stated by the owner and CEO of the company, Andriy Vadaturskyш, in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.

According to him, in the first 9 months of 2025, the company’s revenue decreased by 16.8%, to UAH 13.1 billion, while revenue in 2024 amounted to UAH 20.3 billion. Already in 2026, Nibulon plans to increase grain exports, increasing the company’s share to 7–8%.

Currently, Nibulon collects about 300 thousand tons of grain per year from its own fields. In the 2024/25 MY, the company remained in the top five largest grain exporters with a share of 5.1%, having shipped 2.4 million tons. At the same time, the holding’s staff was reduced almost threefold.

Also, among the company’s main goals for five years are to repay the pre-war loan portfolio and stabilize EBITDA at $60 million in the next two years.

Over three years, Nibulon’s EBITDA fell by 34% to $68 million. The debts with which the founder built the company have almost not changed and amount to $544 million. Since 2022, the company has paid more than $156 million in interest to banks, with 96% of creditors agreeing to debt restructuring.

The total losses of the Nibulon agricultural holding as a result of the full-scale war are estimated at $500 million. The company’s CEO, Andriy Vadatursky, said that the Russians stole 140 thousand tons of grain, elevators and land from the company.

“We lost our main advantage — the Mykolaiv port and a network of river terminals. The Russians occupied, blocked or destroyed more than 68% of Nibulon’s assets,” Andriy Vadatursky added.

It should be noted that before the full-scale invasion, Nibulon exported up to 5 million tons of grain annually, mainly by river transport through its own terminal in Mykolaiv. At the end of 2022, before the opening of the ports of Greater Odessa, the company used the Danube ports, through which almost 50% of its exports passed.
