Nibulon sent a second batch of wheat to Egypt under an agreement with the General Directorate of Commodity Supply (GASC).

Agroholding loaded 63,000 tons of wheat onto the ship Edfu, which belongs to the Egyptian state company — National Navigation Company (NNC), Nibulon reports.

The grain was loaded at the PGM-2 anchorage of TTS Operator SRL (Constanța).

Director of logistics “Nibulon” Serhii Kalkutin said that the daily rate of grain loading reached a record 18.2 thousand tons. This high performance indicator is very important, because together with a stable cargo flow, it makes it possible to achieve a reduction in shipping costs.

This ultimately allows the Danube to compete with the ports of Great Odesa, Kalkutin noted.

It will be recalled that in August the agricultural holding “Nibulon” supplied grain to Egypt for the first time in the season within the framework of the GASC state tender. Grain is delivered to Egypt through the “Danube Grain Corridor”, using the entire range of logistics capabilities of the TTS company.

Previously, USM reported that the Ukrainian companies “Nibulon” and “Nika-Tera” are interested in the privatization of the Bilhorod-Dnister port.
