Nibulon will receive certification for demining agricultural land without the participation of the state

Ukrainian agricultural holding Nibulon will receive certification for independent demining of agricultural lands.

The company is preparing to receive certification for the full cycle of demining, including detonation, disposal, and transportation of explosive ordnance, Nibulon reported.

This will allow the company to reach the level of leading international organizations in this field, such as HALO Trust and FSD, and to independently deal with the cleaning of territories, without the involvement of public services.

“Nibulon” is already actively participating in UNDP, UNOPS and Prozorro tenders, and in the near future it plans to conclude contracts for demining works. As Mykhailo Vasyliovych, the company’s director of interaction with authorities, notes, this approach will help speed up the return of agricultural land to circulation and optimize demining costs.

Agroholding has initiated a new approach to the formation of demining lots, which involves the clustering of individual plots into single arrays, thereby reducing logistics costs. Thanks to these steps, the company supports the Ministry of Economy’s strategy to fully clean up land in the controlled territories within the next three years.

Previously, as a result of cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities and financial institutions, such as the EBRD and the IFC, it was possible to ensure 100% compensation for the costs of demining agricultural land. This decision opened up new opportunities for speeding up demining operations and facilitating the return of agricultural land to cultivation.

Previously, USM reported that the agricultural holding Nibulon will use artificial intelligence to reduce the cost of demining agricultural land.
