North Korea has already sent 11,000 containers of weapons to Russia
Since the end of last year, the DPRK has sent almost 11,000 containers of ammunition to Russia.
Also, ballistic missile launchers and several dozen such missiles were sent in containers. This was announced at the meeting of the Permanent Council of the OSCE. Deputy Head of the US Mission to the OSCE Tracy Newell, reports Ukrinform.
Moscow’s negotiations with Tehran on the supply of ballistic missiles are also actively advancing.
“Since the end of last year, the DPRK has delivered to Russia almost 11,000 containers with ammunition, as well as ballistic missile launchers and several dozen ballistic missiles. Russia has repeatedly used this weapon to attack Ukrainian infrastructure,” Newell commented.
She added that Pyongyang does not help Moscow for free.
“We know that North Korea is interested in fighter jets, surface-to-air missiles, armored vehicles, equipment or materials for the production of ballistic missiles and other advanced technologies. It is clear that Russia and North Korea are violating UN Security Council resolutions by participating in these deliveries,” Newell said.
