Odesa Port Plant is being prepared for privatization: the auction is planned for autumn 2026

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has published a schedule for preparing for a large privatization in 2026 — among the objects is the Odesa Port Plant.

Also among the assets being prepared for bidding is the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, said the head of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Natalukha.

According to him, the Fund seeks to make the process of selling state property more predictable for business.

“That is why today we are changing our approach: from passively waiting for a buyer to proactively working with investors. This schedule is an important step in opening up to investors the list of priority objects, preparation deadlines, and rules for participating in auctions in order to make this process at least a little more predictable and transparent for the market,” said Dmytro Natalukha.

One of the largest lots will be the Odesa Port Plant, the starting price of which is UAH 4.3 billion. In June, the preparation of the Plant for sale and its presentation to potential investors will begin. The auction is scheduled to start in September.

The starting price of the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant is UAH 6.27 billion. The auction commission meeting will be held in August, and the auction is planned to be held in November.

As a reminder, Kernel refused to participate in the privatization of the Odesa Port Plant after checking the asset and assessing the risks.
