Odesa yachtsman won the international regatta

The international regatta “XV Trofeo Euromarina” was held in Spain. First place was taken by a yachtsman from Odesa.
Odesa yachtsman Svyatoslav Madonich became the winner of the “XV Trofeo Euromarina” youth international regatta in the Optimist class in the Spanish city of Torrevieja.
423 athletes from 24 countries took part in the competition, reported the press service of the branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
15-year-old Sviatoslav Madonich took first place after 10 races (the best 9 were counted), which took place over four days. The yachtsman scored 45 points, ahead of the Spaniard Juan Domingo Sebamanes by 27 points.
