Only two Ukrainian companies entered the top 5 grain exporters from Ukraine

There are only two domestic companies in the top 5 exporters of Ukrainian grain. Kernel agricultural holding became the largest exporter of grain from Ukraine.

According to the results of the 2023/24 marketing year, the Kernel agricultural holding became the largest grain exporter from Ukraine. This is evidenced by data from the company’s annual report, Latifundist reports.

Kernel continues to compete with international giants such as COFCO, Cargill, ADM, Bunge, Louis Dreyfus and Glencore, which remain major players in the market. The report notes that in recent years, new, smaller companies have entered the market and are rapidly gaining market share by using alternative export routes amid turbulence.

Kernel’s share in the Ukrainian grain export market increased to 10% compared to 8% last year. The second largest exporter among Ukrainian companies was Nibulon, whose share increased by 6% (last year — by 5%).

Louis Dreyfus (with an increase in share by 7%), ADM (5%) and Cargill (4%) are also among the top 5 exporters of Ukrainian grain.

Previously, USM reported that the shares of Ukrainian agricultural holdings showed growth on the stock exchanges for a week.
