Ports and roads were closed in Romania due to bad weather
As a result of the extreme weather conditions in Romania, the ports were closed and hundreds of drivers were stuck on the roads.
Due to a heavy blizzard on November 26, the ports in the Romanian districts of Constanta, Tulcea, Galach and Braila were closed. At the same time, hundreds of drivers are stuck on the roads, writes Gospodarka Morska.
It is also reported that there is no drinking water in Constanta, and 400 cities are without electricity due to damage to power lines. Local authorities ask citizens to cancel all trips within the next 2 days.
A critical situation is also observed in Moldova. There, the authorities have already reported one person killed in a road accident.
“There are heavy snowfalls in the central and southern parts of the country. The situation is getting worse every hour. Despite the efforts of road services, traffic is very difficult. We ask you to refrain from traveling if possible,” said the Minister of Infrastructure of Moldova Andrey Spinu.
