Ports of Great Odesa unload more than 1,100 wagons with grain


On average, 1,143 wagons with grain are unloaded in the ports of Great Odesa per day. During the week, the indicator increased by 156 units per day.

Such data was made public by Valerie Tkachov, deputy director of the department of transportation technology and commercial work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, Rail.insider reported.

In general, the number of wagons moving in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa is currently equal to 5373 units. The increase is 396 wagons per week.

The average daily load of wagons on the network in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa also increased – by 143 units. Currently, 1,245 wagons are moving there.

The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail decreased by 51 units (from 379 to 328 wagons). The average daily rate of grain unloading at the port of Izmail is 55 wagons per day. During the week, the volume increased by one unit per day.
