Ports received 1.7 million tons of agricultural products by rail in December


More than 1,783,000 grain cargoes were transported to seaports of Ukraine in 27 days of December.

In total, since the beginning of December, 2 million 296 thousand 500 tons of grain cargoes have been transported by railway in the export connection, writes Rail.insider.

Of them, 1 million 783 thousand 500 tons of grain cargoes were transported in the direction of sea ports. At the same time, the volume of exports through the western border crossings is 513,000 tons.

The grain load in December was 2 million 325 thousand 100 tons. The share of cereals in the total load increased to 21.6%. The volume of the average daily load was 95 thousand 200 tons. This is 4,400 tons more than the November figure.

As previously reported by USM, over the last week the queue in the direction of the seaports increased by almost 500 wagons, up to 8 thousand 151 units.
