Romania introduces new rules for the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products

From April 24, Romania will start sealing vehicles transporting Ukrainian agricultural products in transit mode.

The customs authorities of Romania will install seals on trucks with Ukrainian agricultural transit goods, the press service of Ukrtransbezpeka reported .

Now the transporters going through Romania in transit must prepare the truck for sealing and arrive at the border only after meeting such conditions.

Earlier, USM reported that Romania decided not to ban the import of Ukrainian agricultural products and to preserve the “Roads of Solidarity” for the transit of Ukrainian grain.

It will be recalled that in April, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria introduced a temporary ban on the import of Ukrainian grain and other types of agricultural products. In particular, Poland suspended the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products, but later resumed it from April 21.
