Russia attacked a tugboat in the Odesa region: two Azerbaijan citizens died

Russia has carried out another attack on civilian shipping in the Odesa region. The foreign-flagged tugboat “Tedy” was damaged as a result of the strike.

Two crew members, Azerbaijani citizens, were killed, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported.

Two more Azerbaijani citizens were injured and hospitalized. Six crew members, also Azerbaijani citizens, were provided with necessary assistance on the spot and did not require hospitalization.

Russia continues to purposefully attack civilian vessels and port infrastructure of Ukraine, creating a direct threat to Ukrainian and foreign sailors.

Ukraine records each such case and continues to inform international partners about systematic Russian attacks on civilian shipping and transport infrastructure.
