Russia attacked port infrastructure in Odesa region: ship damaged, four injured

Russian attack damages civilian vessel under Togo flag and causes fires in Odesa region’s port infrastructure.
On the night of August 17, Russian troops attacked port infrastructure in Odesa region. This was reported by the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
As a result of the strike, a civilian vessel under the flag of the Republic of Togo was damaged. Four people were also injured.
“A civilian vessel under the flag of the Republic of Togo was damaged. Unfortunately, 4 people were injured, three of whom are hospitalized, one in serious condition,” Kiper noted.
After the attack, fires broke out in the territory of the port infrastructure. According to the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, they have now been completely eliminated.
Other details regarding the nature of the damage and the consequences of the attack are being clarified.
Previously, Russia rejected a proposal to stop attacks on civilian vessels.
