Russia attacked the Tabaki checkpoint on the border with Moldova

On the night of August 21, Russian troops attacked the Bolgrad and Izmail districts of the Odesa region with drones.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
As a result of the attack, the infrastructure of the international checkpoint “Tabaky” on the border with Moldova was damaged.
The buildings and structures of the checkpoint were damaged. The fires at the facilities were localized by the State Emergency Service.
Currently, the passage of people and vehicles through “Tabaky” is suspended.
The Moldovan side has been informed about the situation, and transport is being redirected to other checkpoints.
Earlier, USM reported that disruptions in the Black Sea could reduce world grain exports by 86 million tons.
