Russia attacked the transport infrastructure of the Odesa region and civilian vessels

Today, August 3, Russian troops struck transport infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region, as well as civilian vessels in the ports of Great Odesa and the Danube region.
Ten people were injured in the attack, the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported.
The injured are being provided with necessary medical assistance. The liquidation of the consequences of the shelling is ongoing at the sites of the attacks.
The ministry noted that the intensity of attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure continues to grow. In the first days of August, Russia attacked seaport facilities five times, civilian vessels in ports three times, and vessels in the Ukrainian sea corridor twice.
In July, 67 attacks on seaport facilities, 35 attacks on civilian vessels in ports, and 22 attacks on vessels in the sea corridor were recorded.
Ships that, due to previous damage, remain at berths or anchorages and do not carry out cargo operations are also being hit.
The ministry considers such attacks to be part of a targeted campaign to disrupt the work of Ukrainian ports, intimidate international shipowners, and undermine confidence in the safety of civilian shipping.
