Russia has found another location for transshipment of oil in the Mediterranean Sea

Russia has found another place to illegally transfer crude oil in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Thus, the aggressor country transships crude oil from smaller tankers to larger ones off the coast of Morocco, Bloomberg reports.

The reason for this is that Greece is trying to curb oil trade with Russia.

Vessels carrying Russia’s leading grade of Urals oil transfer it from smaller tankers to larger ones near the city of Nador (east coast of Morocco, Mediterranean Sea).

Since April, the Greek Navy has been conducting exercises in the region where trade with the Russian Federation used to take place, in order to curb it.

About 80% of Russian Urals oil is supplied to Asia, mainly to India and China.
