Russian ship carrying stolen Ukrainian grain departs from Israel

The bulk carrier “Panormitis”, which tried to transport over 25 thousand tons of grain to Haifa, is leaving the country’s shores and heading in an unknown direction.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

“The bulk carrier Panormitis, which arrived in Haifa with a cargo of grain from the occupied territories of Ukraine and was near Haifa all this time, has left the Israeli coast.

We are watching,” the journalist noted.

We will recall that the bulk carrier was heading to Haifa with a cargo of 6,201.56 tons of wheat and 19,043.73 tons of barley from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Later, it became known that the Israeli importing company refused to unload the grain stolen by Russia in Ukraine in Haifa due to the risk of international sanctions. Ukraine also sent Israel a package of documents for the arrest of the Russian ship with the stolen Ukrainian grain.
