Since the beginning of April, Ukraine has exported 3.5 million tons by sea

During the 15 days of April, the total export from Ukraine by water transport amounted to 3.5 million tons.

This was reported by Spike Brokers analysts.

Thus, in the first half of April, exports through the port of Chornomorsk amounted to 1.3 million tons. Through the port of Pivdennyi — 880,000 tons, the port of Odesa — 818,000 tons.

Exports through the Danube amount to 456,000 tons.

Sea freight rates remained largely unchanged from last week’s levels. At the same time, freight rates on the Danube rose to 10%.

We will remind you that the rate of export of Ukrainian grain doubled at the beginning of April, compared to the same period last year. In total, since the beginning of the 2023/24 MY, Ukraine exported 36.439 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
