Soldiers of the Navy of Ukraine were returned from Russian captivity

Soldiers of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were returned from Russian captivity.

On Tuesday, June 25, 90 Ukrainian servicemen were returned home from Russian captivity, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.

Among them are soldiers of the Navy, National Guard, army, border guards, and Teroboronmen. These are military personnel who defended Mariupol and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, as well as those who were in the Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Luhansk directions.

“We remember all our people in Russian captivity. We continue to work for the liberation of each and every one. We are looking for the truth about everyone who can be held by the enemy,” Zelenskyy said.

We will remind, at the end of January, Ukraine conducted one of the largest exchanges of prisoners – 207 soldiers returned home, including the defenders of Zmiinyi Island.
