State Prperty Fund will again put the Odesa Port Plant up for privatization


The State Property Fund of Ukraine plans to hold an auction on October 19 to sell the state stake in JSC Odesa Port Plant.

The starting price of the enterprise is over UAH 4.3 billion, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.

99.5667% of the authorized capital of the OPP will be put up for auction. Acceptance of applications for participation in the auction will last until October 18, the starting price of the lot is UAH 4.308 billion excluding VAT.

The Odesa Port Plant is one of the strategic enterprises of the chemical industry of Ukraine and a major ammonia and urea transshipment hub on the Black Sea.

In October, the State Property Fund also plans to hold auctions on the sale of Sumykhimprom and two confiscated sanctioned assets – Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant and Motordetal-Konotop.

It should be noted that the previous auction for the privatization of the Plant was scheduled for November 25, 2025 with a starting price of UAH 4.489 billion, but did not take place due to the lack of applications. The new starting price of the enterprise is approximately UAH 180 million lower.

Previously, the Odesa Port Plant was considered a potential site for grain transshipment.
