Strike on the port of Odesa: six people injured, including Syrian sailors from a civilian vessel


As a result of the Russian strike on the Odesa Seaport, there are already six victims. Two people have also died.

This was reported by the Minister for Development  of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.

On the afternoon of July 3, an Iskander missile hit the area of ​​one of the berths of the Odesa Seaport. At that time, people were working at the berth, unloading metal from a foreign vessel under the flag of Sao Tome and Principe.

Two people were killed. One of them was a docker-mechanic, the other was a truck driver.

Six more were injured. Among them were employees of one of the port operators and a driver. Two more were Syrian citizens, members of the crew of a civilian vessel. People are being provided with all necessary assistance.

Infrastructure facilities were also damaged: gantry cranes, equipment, warehouses.
