Ukrainian ports will soon accept five vessels with imported coal from the United States, totaling approximately 280,000 tonnes.
Russia announced the termination of supplies of thermal coal to Ukraine. The reason: their country needs to “pay special attention” to meeting domestic demand for this type of coal.
DTEK and the international company HC Trading have agreed on an additional shipload of 60,000 tonnes of American coal. The delivery is expected to arrive in Ukraine in mid-November this year.
