The European Commission is “seriously considering” subsidizing transportation of Ukrainian grain through EU member states.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, condemned Poland’s refusal to lift the ban on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.

The European operator will be called Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland.

In Warsaw on July 19, the ministers of five EU countries plan to discuss the extension of the ban on the import of grain from Ukraine.

Olga Trofimtseva, special envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, believes that the EU should not make concessions to Russia when deciding the fate of the Grain Agreement.

EU member states expressed deep concern over the slow down in the implementation of the Grain Agreement and noted that the Russian Federation continues to use food as a weapon.

The European Commission has approved a support package of 100 million euros for farmers in five countries that have banned the import of grain from Ukraine.

The countries of the European Union agreed on a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation. In particular, ships with Russian cargo are now prohibited from entering EU ports.

The Romanian government will ask the EU to extend restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products at least until the end of the year.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” plans to provide a full list of forwarding services to cargo owners and enter the EU market.
