TEUS has replenished its railcar fleet with new tank cars for oil transportation

TEUS has purchased 22 railway tank cars designed for the transportation of edible oil.

The volume of each tank car is 60 tons, the company’s press service reported.

In particular, the new tanks will reduce the risk of delays and increase the predictability of schedules. The company’s clients will also be able to transport liquid cargo on a turnkey basis without involving third-party operators.

“Providing customers with stable logistics is a priority for the company. This is especially true during peak periods when the market is faced with a shortage of rolling stock. Given that oil cargoes make up a large percentage of everything transported by rail, this step opens up new opportunities for client businesses that are interested in high-quality and fast transportation in compliance with all necessary regulations and standards,” the company noted.

As of today, TEUS owns not only 40 grain trucks, but also 22 tanks. In particular, the company operates not only its own, but also leased wagons, the total number of which reaches 872, including 754 grain trucks, 36 gondola cars, as well as 86 oil tankers.
