The body of a man who disappeared almost a week ago was found in the area of the Dunaisudoservice ship repair enterprise.
On Wednesday, May 10, a man’s body was found in the water in the area of the Danube Ship Repair Enterprise located on the banks of the Danube. He was wanted for almost a week, “Bessarabia Inform” writes.
The body was discovered by an employee of the border service at the 85th kilometer of the Danube. The police were called to the scene. The preliminary cause of death is drowning.
The deceased was a 73-year-old local resident. The body was sent for forensic examination.
As previously reported by USM, a sailor stabbed his friend nine times in a port on the Danube. The conflict between the men broke out over another crew member, whom the victim insulted and the attacker defended.
