The Cabinet of Ministers supported the draft law on adapting the Ukrainian State Administration to EU standards

Ukraine is bringing the railway industry closer to the European market, the government has approved a new draft law on safety and interoperability.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported a draft law that should bring the domestic railways into line with European Union standards. This was reported on the Government website.
This is a document that regulates issues of safety, technical compatibility and risk management.
The draft law provides for the creation of a modern safety management system, a new model of rolling stock maintenance, uniform rules for drivers and mutual compatibility of infrastructure with EU countries. Its provisions will come into force three years after adoption to ensure the adaptation of the industry.
The government emphasizes that the document is part of Ukraine’s obligations within the framework of European integration and an important step towards the inclusion of Ukraine in the European transport area.
