Sailors from the ship “Verbena”, which was hit by the Yemeni Houthis the day before, successfully left the ship.
On June 15, the crew of the Ukrainian cargo ship “Verbena” left the ship after being hit by Houthi cruise missiles. This was reported in the US Central Command.
This decision was taken due to the inability to control the fire caused by the attack of Yemeni militants. Before leaving the ship, the sailors gave a distress call, which was responded to by the Anna Meta. The Anna Meta crew found the sailors and are transporting them to safety.
