The ex-head of the Shipping Administration was appointed Deputy Minister of Economy


The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Vitaly Kindrativ, the former head of the Customs Administration (now the Shipping Administration), as Deputy Minister of Economy.

On July 18, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Vitaly Kindrativ as Deputy Minister of Economy, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said.

From August 4, 2021 to December 23, 2022, Kindrativ was the head of the State Service of Sea and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine (renamed to the Shipping Administration on March 6 last year).

Last year, “Focus”learned from the then Maritime Administration that its head Kindrativ in December 2021, with a salary of 29,400 UAH, received a 176,400 UAH bonus for “labor intensity” – 600% of his rate.

Also, in December 2021, Vitaly Kindrativ received a 17,640 UAH bonus, a 11,947.09 UAH bonus for years of service, 800 UAH for the rank of civil servant, and 275.39 UAH indexation. That is, Kindrativ earned UAH 281,112.48 per month.

In February 2022, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv decided that the head of the State Service of Sea and River Transport of Ukraine, Vitaliy Kindrativ, held office illegally.

In 2018-2020, Kindrativ headed the Directorate of Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Previously, he also held the positions of deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, chief consultant-inspector of the Main Department of Regional and Personnel Policy of the Administration of the President of Ukraine.

Kindrativ was dismissed from his position on December 23 last year “by agreement of the parties.”
