The export of Ukrainian coal was completely banned by the Cabinet of Ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers has completely banned the export of coal from Ukraine.

“Amendments have been made to the Volumes of quotas of goods, the export of which is subject to licensing, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by  29.12.2021 No. 1424, in terms of a complete ban on the export of coal of Ukrainian origin,” Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on Telegram.

In June, the ban on the export of energy resources came into force, but it did not extend to the export of coking coal.

Earlier, the Ministry of Energy created an operational headquarters to monitor the progress of the 2022/2023 heating season.
