The first joint barge caravan of “Nibulon” and the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company returned to Izmail this week.

The caravan was being unloaded at one of the anchorages of the Romanian port of Constanta, the UDS aid.

The unloading rate was more than 4 thousand tons per day.

Another “Ukrainian” mooring station should start operating in Constanta from September. There is already an agreement on the involvement of cranes. If Constanta has its own UDS tug, transshipment will be up to 6,000 tons of grain per day.

UDS also announced offers for customers in Ukraine and the Middle Danube.

The shipping company reminded that for a full-fledged restart of the project of integrated logistics service with ship-to-ship transshipment, support is needed, in particular, from the Ukrainian authorities.

It will be recalled that the first UDS grain caravan was loaded at the “Nibulon” terminal.
