The Head of the Shipping Administration summed up before his dismissal

The Head of the Shipping Administration of Ukraine, Yevgenii Ignatenko, reported on two years of work in the department.

“Today is my last working day at the Shipping Administration – it’s time to move on,” he wrote.

Ignatenko thanked Oleksandr Kubrakov and Oleksiy Kuleba, as well as his team, crew representatives, port captains, international partners and the entire maritime community.

Thus, thanks to the new State Qualification Commission for Seafarers (SQC), Ukrainian seafarers received 127 thousand qualification documents.

In many ways, the result was achieved thanks to the digitalization of the process. The Administration digitized almost the entire “seafarer’s path” and implemented it on the Diya portal together with Mykhailo Fedorov’s team.

Also, during this time, the Administration provided 100 thousand administrative services – this is tens of millions to the state budget.

In addition, Yevgenii Ignatenko signed seven Memorandums on the recognition of specialist diplomas/certificates. There were only five of them in the previous 14 years.

And the first-ever certification of the Shipping Administration according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015 was also carried out, the highest rating from the NACP for anti-corruption activities.

“For me, this was a period of great changes. Thank you to everyone who was there. Everything is just beginning!”, — wrote Ihnatenko.

Earlier, the USM reported that the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the head of the Shipping Administration.
