The liberation of Kherson destroyed the hopes of russian federation to control the Black Sea

Thanks to the liberation of Kherson, Ukraine got a chance to restore the Mykolayiv port and quenched the “appetites” of russian federation regarding the control of the Black Sea.

The liberation of Kherson on November 11 moved the front line tens of kilometers to the east, and along with it, the russian artillery. Thanks to this, the number of shelling of Mykolaiv has decreased several times, after 9 months of daily terrorist attacks. In addition, the terrorist country lost the opportunity to seize the southern regions of Ukraine, writes Reuters.

So now Ukraine has hopes for the restoration of Mykolaiv port — the second largest in the country. Recently, the head of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration  Vitaliy Kim invited representatives of construction companies to return to restore the ports.

In addition, Ukrainian government officials called for expanding the agreement o n grain exports to the ports of the Mykolaiv region, which provided 40% of Ukrainian food exports before the war.
