The maximum passing draft of vessels on the Danube has changed


Due to the rise of the water level in the Danube River, the maximum passing draft of sea vessels has changed.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority .

In connection with the rise of the water level in the Danube River, starting from 17:00 on December 8, the maximum passing draft of sea vessels in the section from “0” km of the “Bystre” estuary to 77 km of the Kiliy estuary is 5.70 meters (at the level water station of the Izmail port 2.37 m.).

The sediment from km 77 to km 116 of the Kiliy estuary is 7.00 meters.
